Our sliding windows have a reversible flap for their counterweights. The counterweights are manufactured from stainless steel tubes and filled with metal in a special process. This prevents any abrasion and any jolting of the weights.
The counterweights and sashes are connected with stainless steel cables, which guarantees precise and long-lasting service. Guide pulleys with plastic-coated bearings ensure quiet and low-wear operation.
Two fall protection devices built into each sash secure it if the steel cable is released or breaks. Find out more under the fall protection heading.
Fixed glazing is built into a conventional window frame, i.e. the pane can be changed at any time without having to dismantle the window.
The electrical drive is controlled electronically according to the latest state of the art and has a tried and tested force shutoff. This makes a loud, high-maintenance friction clutch unnecessary. If damaged, all parts can be renewed with minimum effort thanks to an ingenious modular system.
Our sliding windows are manufactured according to the guidelines (and EU directive) for power-operated doors, gates and windows.
